The USC Laboratory of Neuro Imaging is seeking a postdoctoral fellow for a two year NIH Institutional Training Grant for the Multiscale and Multimodal Analysis of Biomarkers in Alzheimer’s Disease.
Participants will receive continuing education, training, and research experience to prepare for a successful independent research career. Training includes lab rotations, regular seminars, and instruction for teaching and grant writing. Research focus is for analysis of Alzheimer’s Disease biomarkers using multiple scales and methodologies including molecular and cellular methods, imaging tools and informatics, quantitative methods for clinical trials research, and large-scale population analyses. Special focus on the informatics associated with studying Alzheimer’s disease and an emphasis on translational research. Institutional Support includes full salary, tuition remission for continuing education, and annual travel costs to attend scientific meetings.
This is a multidisciplinary effort combining the expertise and resources of six USC schools, centers, institutes, and departments: The Mark and Mary Stevens Neuroimaging and Informatics Institute (INI) at the Keck School of Keck School of Medicine, the Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) in the Viterbi School of Engineering, the Zilkha Neurogenetic Institute (ZNI) in the Keck School of Medicine, the Department of Psychology in the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences, the Leonard D. Schaeffer Center for Health Policy and Economics, and the Leonard Davis School of Gerontology.
